How to Record iPhone Calls?

Image
Have you ever needed to record a call on your iPhone? While there’s no direct way to do this built in to iOS, there are some easy to use software and hardware options. Follow along for how to record iPhone calls. While there’s a workaround to use the Phone apps’ three-way call feature on iOS to call yourself after dialing the first party and potentially record calls to your own voicemail, you may want a more reliable way to record calls. Software options TapeACall is by far the most popular iOS app to offer call recording. The lite version has 4.5/5 stars on over 4,000 reviews, while the pro version has 4.6/5 stars on over 8,000 reviews. How to Restore iOS9 - iOS10.x App Backup and Cache?

Image
Ever since iOS 9, Apple has applied some sort of restriction that prohibits iPhoneGuide and other similar tools from backing up .IPA files. This guide will show you how to restore it. Cautiously, this guide has not been tested with: Cache data restored to a different version of its app other than its original version. iOS 11+ (Some users said this works on iOS 11) AppleTV (just iPhones, but I'm certain its the same as well for iPad/iTouch). This Tweak Lets you Close Folders with a Pinch Gesture

Image
Folders can be convenient for keeping your iPhone or iPad’s Home screen methodical, but Apple could have put more thought into the folder-closing experience; more specifically, the gesture used to exit an open folder. Fortunately, the jailbreak community now offers the perfect solution. A new free jailbreak tweakdubbed PinchToCloseFolders by iOS developer Maddox lets you close out of folders with a simple pinch gesture. After you install PinchToCloseFolders, you can take full advantage of your device’s multi-touch display to close a folder; merely place two fingertips on the screen and execute a pinching motion. Once you’re done, you should find yourself kicked back to the Home screen. Without PinchToCloseFolders, you’d generally have to tap outside of the folder or press the Home button to close it. This has never really been an issue, but the pinch gesture feels a bit more natural to some given the illusion produced by iOS’ animations. Whether you should install the tweak or not

How to Enable the Optimal Audio Codec for Your Bluetooth Headphones in macOS?

Image
How good your digital music sounds often comes down to which file format it's encoded in. Be that as it may, every Mac audio setup is only as strong as it's weakest link, and if your Bluetooth connection isn't up to scratch, even the best BT headphones will fail to deliver a decent wireless listening experience. By design, all Bluetooth devices support the low-power SBC audio compression codec as standard. Fortunately, modern Macs also support AAC (Apple's preferred iTunes codec) and aptX, which Android devices often use. These two codecs offer higher quality audio and generally lower latency than SBC, which is why most third-party wireless headphones on the market support one or the other, and sometimes both. Yet for whatever reason, despite their AAC/aptX support, some headphones fall back to the bog-standard SBC codec when connected to a Mac. This can lead to a particularly underwhelming audio experience, not to mention latency-related sync issues, which will

FastUnlockX makes Unlocking your iPhone X with Face ID Even Faster

Image
Anyone sporting an iPhone X should be familiar with how Face ID works by now. After the handset recognizes your face, you’re required to swipe up from the bottom of the display to get to your Home screen. But wouldn’t it be nice if you could skip the second step altogether? A new free jailbreak tweak dubbed FastUnlockX by iOS developer CPDigitalDarkroom brings this idea to fruition and makes unlocking your iPhone X with Face ID a split second faster. After installing FastUnlockX on your jailbroken iPhone X, your device will begin taking you to your Home screen automatically once it distinguishes a recognized face. In other words, you won’t have to swipe up from the bottom of the display to get to your Home screen anymore. Notably, Apple imposes this two-step process to prevent accidental handset unlocks and hence slightly increase the user’s security. FastUnlockX defeats the purpose of this two-step process, but the trade-off is being able to access your Home screen more quickly. It
