How to Downgrade &Install iOS 6 Dual System on iPhone 4 / iPhone 5?


iOS users now are supported to install dual system on iDevice, which means that you can run two different iOS systems on a same iPhone. I think some of you can’t help experiencing it now. This tutorial is mainly introducing how to downgrade and install iOS dual system on iPhone 4/ iPhone 5.

Supported iDevices: iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 4, iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad 4.

Supported iOS systems: iOS 9, iOS 8, iOS 7 (You need to jailbreak iDevice first).

Storage requirement: Please make sure the storage space of iPhone 5 and iPhone 5c is more than 8G, and ensure that the storage space of iPhone 4 is more than 4G. If your iDevice’s storage space is insufficient, you can clean it using iPhoneGuide so as to release more space. 




Step1: Launch Cydia-> click Source-> Add, and then enter http://apt.abcydia.com.




Step2: Search and install CoolerBooter.




Step3: Please back to the Home page. Click CoolerBooter and select the available firmware (6.0-6.1.4) you want.




Step4: Click I’m ready-> Yes. And then CoolerBooter will help you download firmware automatically.




Step5: Please wait until the process is finished, you will find that you’ve successfully installed iOS 6 system on your iDevice.



If you want to restore iDevice to the original firmware version, you just need to restart iDevice.
