How Long Do You Keep Text Messages on iPhone?


iPhone users are differ in keeping messages, some like to save all the message forever on iPhone, while some other trend to delete message immediately after they read them. iOS provides a setting for how long to keep messages on your iPhone.

Step 1: Launch Settings app on your iOS device.

Step 2: Click Messages.

Step 3: Now continue to click Keep Messages option.

Step 4: Lastly, set for how long you would like to keep messages on your iPhone: 30 Days, 1 Year or Forever.


By the way, if yo never set the time before, message default to keeping your text message on your iPhone permanently.
