Downgrade iPhone 4s from iOS 9 to iOS 6 with idevicerestore

Previously iPhoneGuide supports downgrading iPhone 4s and iPad 2 to iOS 6.1.3 after jailbreak without SHSH, it is very easy to handle, this tutorial aims to teach you downgrade iPhone4s from iOS 9 to iOS 6 with idevicerestore.


Preparations:

iPhoneGuide, Cydia impactor, phoenix, winscp, openssl, fistmedaddy.ipsw, idevicerestore

Download toolkit (4-7)

Step1: Upgrade your iPhone to iOS 9 with iPhoneGuide first. Then jailbreak your iPhone with Phoenix.

Step2: Run Cydia, when it finishes loading data, click Return Cydia.

Step3: Then openSSh with iPhoneGuide.



Step4: Install winscp and openssl on your computer, then run winscp.

Step5: Back to your iPhone, head to Settings app, click wifi, then find the IP address.

Step6: Enter the following info. Username - root, Password - alpine, then click Login.



Step7: You may meet the following reminder, just click Abort -Yes.



Step8: Connect your iPhone, and click 「/」to find the root directory.

Step9: Open the toolkit you just downloaded, find the two file Kloader and pwnediBSS, then drop and drag them into winscp, then the two files will show in the root directory.

Step10: Click DOS button on winscp and click OK, then you’ll see the Console.


Step11: Keep the good connection between your iPhone and PC, enter the commad chmod+xkloader and press Enter. Then continue to enter the following command ./kloader pwnediBSS.


Step12: After that your winscp will be disconnected, if you see the pop up window, click Abort- OK.


Step13: Search and run cmd on your computer. Go to the data file of idevicerestore for Windows, remember the path, put the downloaded file fistmedaddy.ipsw into that folder and copy the path.

Step14: Back to Command Prompt, input the disk that you save your toolkit. For instance, if you save it on disk G, then input G and press enter.


Step15: continue to enter CD (blank), then right click idevicerestore for windows, then you can switch to this directory. Then enter the following command idevicerstore.exe -e fistmedaddy.ipsw.


Step16: Wait patiently. Then you’ll see iPhone start flashing, then you’ll see iOS 6 boot animation. Till now, you have successfully downgrade your iPhone4s from iOS 9 to iOS 6.
